Real Fire Vampire/Devil Ultra

Joe Ertel had contacted me to do a full mural on his anniversary Ultra that would incorporate real fire into a love/hate theme between a Vampirella type woman and a devilish type guy. Joe was very specific about the styling of the whole piece and how he wanted the characters to look and how they interacted with one another. After I had met with Joe a few times, I had hired a couple of models and had my friend Rob Dutchin do a photo shoot while I directed the 2 models into what Joe was looking for. I then took the digital shots into Photoshop and created all the artwork exactly how it would appear on the bike. Joe made a few changes here and there and once he was happy with the look I airbrushed the designs to match what I had done in the computer. By using the Photoshop renderings, both Joe and I knew exactly what the finished product would look like. I will getting some better photos of the whole job very soon and will post the Photoshop renderings so you can compare the paint to them. I have only posted a few photos from the job here for now.
