Right after I had returned from Nashville, TN, from having spent 3 weeks at Andy Anderson's shop, I had a job come up from RNR Custom Cycle in Guelph, ON. It was a back fender painted in Cobalt Blue Kandy that had a great big chip right in the middle of the back. As any painter will tell you, Kandy is virtually impossible to fix as it is transparent, and usually requires a repaint. Thankfully, while I was at Andy's doing another job, Andy was kind enough to show me his trade secrets on how to repair any problem in Kandy. I had watched him fix a job and was amazed at how seamless he could make the repair. So applying my new found knowledge, I was able to repair the fender for Ryan without an expensive repaint. We went ahead and put his shop logo on while I had the fender.
