2005 TSN Chopper Challenge Build-Off Bike

My crowning achievement and one of the jobs I take the most pride in is this Chopper Challenge bike. Bob McKay and I had pulled out all of the stops on the creation of this bike from start to finish. The bike was built over a 3 month period and filmed as part of the TSN TV series. Bob, his wife Dianne and myself planned the extensive paint job theme to be a representation of the history of hockey using canadian based content and players. Starting from the front we began in 1918 with Fred "Cyclone" Taylor and progressed and blended through the years ending up with Wayne Gretzky and Sidney Crosby in 2005. The entire job including all the moulding/bodywork, stencil creation, base/clear, artwork and polishing took 425 hours and was done inside of a 4 week period. Not much sleep was had during this job. Bob took top honours and the trophy for bike.
